About the Company:
Are you looking to join a growing, forward-thinking construction company with real progression opportunities?
We are working with a successful and expanding construction business that is looking to grow its Midlands team with the addition of a Quantity Surveyor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company delivering high-quality commercial projects up to £5 million.
Job Duties:
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labour
• Manage and track project budgets
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and provide cost advice
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Review and analyse contract terms
• Prepare and submit financial reports
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
Required Qualifications / Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial construction projects up to £5 million
• Proven track record of managing project budgets
• UK Driving License
Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in relevant software applications (Bluebeam experience is desired)
Working Conditions:
• Office-based work with occasional travel to sites one a fortnight
