Impact Futures Group have a new opportunity for a creative and talented Instructional Designer to join our expanding Quality team.
Please note, whilst this is a remote role, there may be occasions where you will need to travel to meet with members of your team.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to lead in all aspects of content development to transform our educational resources into interactive
learning programs. Key success criteria will be to build on recent improvements and move towards OFSTED ‘Outstanding’.
The role of the Instructional Designer is to manage the planning, design, development, implementation, and delivery strategies of
content transformation in partnership with internal and external partners plus key stakeholders. This role will identify and
utilise existing and emerging effective practice, technology and evidence and research for generic and industry specific content.
The role will involve:
- To work in collaboration with the Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Specialist to ensure expected progress in the development of
the content.
- To manage the design and coordination of content development and review, ensuring that review and revision of curricula and
instructional practise occurs continuously.
- To design engaging, inclusive and immersive learning content across the provision that provides a return of investment (ROI),
this includes rebranding and iterating current content.
- To redesign existing content to ensure it aligns with the multisensory needs of learners, working closely with the Teaching,
Learning, and Curriculum Specialist to tailor the materials to meet individual learner requirements.

About You
Essential:
- Strong instructional design skills with technical proficiency including high levels of competency and experience of using
Articulate and/or other authoring tools and software
- Experience in e-learning content creation, including building within LMS, content authoring and the creation of supporting
Multimedia assets
- Working understanding and experience of BI Tools, Python, SQL and have a familiarity with data analysis, statistics, and machine
learning concepts with an ability to create content focused on ROI
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Strong knowledge of OFSTED Education Inspection Framework
