If you’re feeling a bit stuck in your current food quality or technical career and wondering what’s next, joining this established food business could be a great move. Working alongside experienced colleagues, it’s a place where your skills will be recognised, rewarded and developed.
This successful food manufacturer produces well-known products for a range of different customers. It’s an opportunity for you to add depth to your knowledge around their quality standards and codes of practice.
This role reports to the Quality Manager, who has a great reputation for coaching, which includes identifying and developing talent.
There’s a strong food safety culture here, where you’ll be part of a significant quality and technical team, supporting factory operations on technical standards, including OPEX and BRC. To be successful, you’ll need a working knowledge of BRC, a strong understanding of food safety and quality systems, root cause analysis and risk assessment knowledge. You’ll also have a good understanding of allergen awareness, food hygiene and HACCP.
Experience of working in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility, you’ll need to be a good communicator, organised and with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. Report writing will be part of the role, so computer skills in Microsoft Office/Excel etc., along with close attention to detail, are essential.
There are some great examples of development and promotion, not only at this site, but across the wider Group. So, if your ambitions and standards are high, the sky really is the only limit.
NB. You must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
