Summary
Holt Engineering are working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Christchurch who are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in assembly and production processes who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about team development, quality, and continuous improvement.
This is a permanent position working full time Monday to Friday with an early finish Friday's.
Paying up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities for the Production Team Leader:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operatives on the assembly line.
- Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
- Coordinate workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Implement and maintain health & safety standards across the production area.
- Conduct training and support the development of team members.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and optimise efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and productivity.
- Updating the production list regularly for work orders and work stages.
To be a successful Production team Leader:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (essential).
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control principles.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
