The Assistant Storesperson supports the day-to-day operations of the Film-Ocean stores function, ensuring equipment, tools, and materials are accurately received, stored, maintained, and issued in line with company procedures. This role is key in maintaining a well-organised and efficient stores environment that supports operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming goods and equipment.
Prepare and issue materials and equipment for offshore and onshore projects.
Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular inventory checks.
Ensure all stores areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with HSE standards.
Support logistics and mobilisation/demobilisation activities as required.
Liaise with project teams, technicians, and suppliers to ensure smooth equipment flow.
Skills and Experience:
Driving License essential
Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or warehouse environment (preferably within an industrial or offshore setting).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication and IT skills, including basic inventory systems knowledge.
Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous.
