As a Hospitality Administrator at Sodexo in Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire RG45 7PU. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Hospitality team at Wellington College, ensuring the smooth coordination of hospitality services and events.

The role supports compliance, planning, communication and operational delivery, contributing to the efficient running of the department and enhancing the client and customer experience.

What you’ll do:

Provide administrative support for hospitality bookings, event planning and service delivery
Maintain and update hospitality documentation including function sheets, service schedules etc using information from the Events Booking System and Catering Request email
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate logistics and resources
Communicate and liaise with Executive Chef on all function updates
Support the Head of Hospitality with diary management, meeting coordination and reporting
Attend daily huddle meeting and communicate events for today and tomorrow
Maintain accurate records for compliance including health and safety, food safety and safeguarding
Prepare team communications and support the completion of training modules
Assist with onboarding of hospitality staff and support training activities where required.
Respond to internal and external queries professionally and promptly
Support the maintenance of hospitality notice boards and communication channels
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Support the planning and execution of events through effective documentation and communication


What you bring:

Essential

Good standard of English language, literacy and numeracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in administration or hospitality support
Understanding of event coordination and hospitality operations
Experience working in a school, hotel or leisure environment
Desirable

Knowledge of food safety and allergen management
Experience with hospitality booking systems or scheduling tools
First Aid and /or Safeguarding Training
Experience supporting compliance and audit processes
