KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To deliver an exemplar Occupational Health (and Wellbeing) service in accordance with Department of Health guidelines and current legislation. To provide occupational health surveillance, screening and immunisation. To carry out pre-placement, night and DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Assessment To deliver a highly visible, proactive, comprehensive and clinically sound employee occupational health nursing service to employees of ARC and customers from the public and private sector, with a focus on preventing ill health, reducing sickness absence and increasing workforce productivity With minimum guidance and supervision, participate in the provision of a full range of employee Health and Wellbeing services as described under the six NHS core Occupational Health services; prevention, timely intervention, rehabilitation, health assessments for work, promotion of health & well-being and teaching & training. Ensure all clinical practice is evidence based Participate in clinical audit service provision evaluation. This is an evolving role, and the duties and responsibilities may change in accordance with the developing service and needs for the patients. The role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies so requires motivation and passion to develop the role and to deliver an excellent service for housebound patients and patients in residential facilities
