Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
Implement individualised care plans tailored to the needs of each person.
Utilise Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques to support behavioural development and learning.
Foster an inclusive environment for individuals with autism and other developmental challenges.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by individuals.
Engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Experience working with adults with disabilities is essential.
Previous experience working with people with autism or in special education settings is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with individuals and their families.
Understanding of medication administration procedures and patient care best practices.
A compassionate approach combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in health care, social work, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
