Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across South Leeds. We partner with a wide range of schools, offering you the chance to support different age groups and work with diverse needs.

The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the classroom, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher with daily tasks, including preparing classroom materials and displays.

  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups with their learning, both academically and emotionally.

  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, engaging space for all students.

  • Providing one-on-one support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.

  • A strong understanding of child development and a passion for education.

  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
