35 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Grade 6 (SCP 23 27) - £34,434 - £38,220 (pro rata to hours worked)

The Harmony Trust was established in February 2014 and currently has 17 schools under the Trust umbrella. The Board of Trustees wish to providean opportunity for an enthusiastic Higher LevelTeaching Assistant. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our school team. The post holder will be based at Richmond Academy.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or willingness to work towards.

  • Training and experience in relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy/ Key Stage 1 or 2

  • Experience of leading whole-class teaching opportunities from EYFS to KS2

  • Experience of preparing and delivering resources (age and ability appropriate) to engage with pupils and contribute to their learning objectives

  • Experience of developing and implementing Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans

  • Experience of working with pupils with different abilities, and adapting own approach and learning

  • Experience of delivering a strong universal teaching offer
