Divisional Sales Manager – Solar PV – Sheffield -£excellent salary & benefits

Ash Consulting are working with a well-established company with 5 branches nationwide who seek to appoint a Divisional Sales Manager to join their team based from the head office in Sheffield. This well invested division will add value to a multi-million pound turnover business working across insulation, central heating and solar sectors partnering individual customers, local authorities, housing associations, and private landlords.
The company are now seeking to appoint an experienced and driven professional Sales Manager to lead and further establish the company on a national basis. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a division from the ground up, with full support from an established organisation
The role of the Divisional Manager – Solar PV will involve:
-You will be managing the PV delivery from design through to execution
-Supporting the costing and delivery of projects to deliver targeted margins
-Work closely with the Group Sales Director in developing a commercial route to market
-Assisting Surveyors in the estimating and surveying process
-Attend and contribute to weekly contracts meetings, contribute to cost analysis of projects
-Co-ordinate daily activities with the internal contract staff to ensure visibility of site visits and work undertaken
-Oversee Contract/ Project delivery team to successfully deliver all PV projects
-Ensure compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures
The ideal applicant for the post of Divisional Sales Manager will possess the following;
Must have management level experience within the Solar PV market sector
Sound technical understanding of commercial and industrial solar PV systems, including design principles, costings, components, and grid integration
Ideally, but not essentially, will have been a fully qualified electrician
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS EN)
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and develop the department
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
