Millfield School is seeking a passionate and engaging Swim Teacher to join our Enterprises team.
Renowned for excellence in swimming, Millfield offers world-class facilities, including 50m and 25m pools, and a wide range of high-quality swim programmes. Our expert swim teachers play a vital role in nurturing young talent and maintaining our outstanding reputation. As our Learn-to-Swim programme continues to grow, we are looking for energetic individuals who are keen to support swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Applicants should hold (or be working towards) an SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification (or equivalent). Experience teaching both pre-school and school-aged children is highly valued. We’re looking for confident, enthusiastic team players – ideally with experience in a busy swim school – who can deliver engaging lessons to children from beginner to pre-squad level.
This is a zero-hour role with anticipated shift times being 4.15pm-7.45pm Thursdays and Fridays during state term times (39 weeks per year). The pay rate is £21.42 per hour plus statutory holiday pay. You will also receive an array of staff benefits including freshly prepared lunches for a nominal fee of just £10.30 per month, access to our state-of-the-art school facilities, and exclusive discounts and cashback benefits at popular high street shops and restaurants through our Employee Assistance Programme.
