Crynodeb
We are hiring a Lorry Driver, who will be responsible for carrying out local deliveries out of Barry in South Wales in curtainsiders. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a passion for driving and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload at local customers, returning back to Barry at the end of each shift.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods.
- Ensure load security.
- Up to date knowledge of Driver Hours Legislation.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and reports.
- Collaborate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Salary is based on hourly pay. Overtime is available on some Saturday mornings at time and a half, this depends on the driver hours accrued during the working week.
