A small number of vacancies have arisen for Practitioners to join our friendly, supportive, Nurse led teams at the Edgware and the Finchley Walk-in Centres. We may consider offering support and training for those who do not have the full educational or practical experience for the Band 7 role.

These centres offer a high standard of unscheduled care daily from 8am to 8pm for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions, most usually minor illnesses and injuries. These centres are staffed primarily by teams of experienced Nurse practitioners with the additional support of General Practitioners and other allied healthcare professionals.

Why work with us?

We provide an educationally focused environment which will allow you to professionally grow and develop your repertoire of clinical skills and theoretical knowledge, through work-based education and training. There is a practice educator supporting across both walk in centre’s.

We have an excellent track record of supporting clinicians through programmes of further advanced training such as the Non-Medical Prescribing.

With the support of our team of highly experiences 8A advanced practitioners we will enable you to develop other skills, such as mentoring and co-ordinating the day-to-day operations of the department.

Opportunities are also available for suitable advanced practitioners to progress to senior 8a roles.

Both sites have X-ray facilities enabling a wide range of clinical experience.
