Are you an inspiring English Teacher ready for a new challenge in the New Year?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Bolton, who are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join their team from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 English, delivering engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.

The school has a strong focus on academic excellence, creativity, and pastoral care — creating an environment where both staff and students can thrive. You’ll be joining a collaborative English department known for its supportive ethos and commitment to high standards.

The successful English Teacher will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK


  • Have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature


  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management


  • Be passionate about fostering a love for English among students


  • Be available to start in January 2026 on a full-time basis
