Key Responsibilities:
-Provide continuous overnight supervision and support (wake and watch nights).
-Monitor and respond to oxygen therapy needs.
-Observe and manage epilepsy, including seizure monitoring and appropriate interventions.
-Administer PEG feeds in accordance with care plans and clinical guidance.
-Assist with regular turns to maintain comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
-Deliver personal care with dignity and respect, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
-Manage catheter care, ensuring hygiene and proper functioning.
-Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider care team.
-Promote a safe, calm, and supportive environment tailored to individual needs.
About you
-Previous experience in a similar role or with complex care needs is desirable.
-Knowledge of epilepsy, PEG feeding, catheter care, and oxygen therapy.
-Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout night shifts.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-A caring, patient, and respectful approach to support.
