They’re now looking to add a Health and Safety Consultant to their team - someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working directly with clients across different industries.

Perhaps you've been the 'go-to' person in your job roles throughout your career, growing tired of the politics that can sometimes come with an in-house role and instead want to take on the role of being a facilitator as opposed to an 'owner' of health and safety
You are pragmatic and not dogmatic in your approach to health and safety. Understanding that in this role you will be entering other people's environments and fitting your solutions around what works for them (you're a realist)
You enjoy a multi-site role, meeting new people and business owners and get a buzz from seeing your advice implemented and seeing
What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as the key safety advisor for a portfolio of clients across the North West of England
Carrying out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Developing and reviewing safety management systems and policies
Delivering training and toolbox talks
Supporting clients with accident investigations and ongoing compliance improvements
Building strong, trusted relationships that help clients develop their safety culture
What You’ll Need
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) – Diploma or equivalent desirable
Experience in consultancy or a varied, multi-site safety role would be advantageous (but don't let this put you off applying if you feel that you have the personality and skillset to succeed in a role like this)
Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different working environments
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West of England
A practical, solutions-driven mindset
