School Cleaning Supervisor Salary: Hay 12 (£25185, pro rata) *This pay scale works out at an hourly rate of £13.05 Total of 12.5 hours per week. This post is term time. Contract: Permanent, Part time, Term time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed School Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. We are looking for someone to both lead and participate in the cleaning of the school. This position is based at Courtney Primary School. Courtney Primary is friendly school with a welcoming team. We are fortunate to be able to work in a bright, modern building with wonderful grounds.Job Requirements Experience of undertaking general cleaning dutiesAbility to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the schoolAwareness of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with children and young peopleHas the physical ability to carry out manual tasks
Main Duties As well as undertaking the cleaning functions, the supervisor will have responsibility for: Cleaning stock supplies Managing the cleaning team Ensuring good communications between the cleaning team and the schoolTo carry out daily cleaning tasks as directed To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with instructions and specifications provided To report any issues with equipment to Manager to ensure hazard are managed correctly and timelyTo observe H&S requirements To maintain a good working relationship with other school staff and co-operate with reasonable changes to daily work routinesClosing date: Friday 31st October Interviews: Thursday 6th November
