An exciting opportunity has arisen for aTesting Operativeto join a reputable manufacturing company specialising in the design and production of automotive components and accessories, particularly for original equipment (OE) applications.
As aTesting Operative, you will be responsible for testing, assembling, and evaluating components to ensure operational quality.This full-time role offers a salary range of £23,800, increasing to £25,000 after probation.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating testing equipment to assess component performance and safety
- Performing electrical and pressure tests on components
- Assembling parts using hand-held battery tools
- Conducting visual inspections, including weld quality
- Preparing tools and equipment, including routine maintenance
- Arranging parts for next-stage processes with proper storage and transport
- Supporting quality evaluations and reporting any production issues
- Handling and manoeuvring components
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Testing Operative, Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Tester, Test Operative, Test Technicianor in a similar role.
- Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
- Strong work ethic and focus on task completion
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
