About the Role
External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale
Two permanent posts and One temporary 12 months post.
Two posts will be based at Middleton Family Hubs and one at Norden Family Hub.
It’s an exciting time to join our service as we further develop our Neighbourhood Early Help & Early Years prevention work.
The Early Help & Early Years’ Service includes our Family Hub provision; Parenting and Relationship programmes; Family Learning; Family Information Service & Our Rochdale; Early Years Childcare and Advisory Team, Early Years SEND, Outreach Support and the Early Years Funding Team.
The service also works closely with EHASH, NEST, Family Group Conferencing and all other teams across Children’s Services.
We are looking for a passionate and committed person with relevant experience to join us and contribute to supporting the Children and Families in our Neighbourhoods.
You will be line managed by the Neighbourhood Lead.
You will work closely with parents, children and other partners and agencies to help support the Family Hub offer across the neighbourhood and the Borough.
Our Receptionists are the heart of our Family Hubs.
You are the first person a family talks to or meets when they walk into the hub. It’s an exciting, role that needs a smile and welcoming approach.

We are looking for a kind, caring individual who is also a good communicator and can work with a wide range of children, families and professionals.
We would want you to be proud, passionate and pioneering and hold strong values to support and help drive the Family Hub services forward.
We have a dedicated varied team who work collaboratively with all our neighbourhood services to help and support all families living in our community.
