PROJECT OFFICER (Heritage)
Rochdale Development Agency’s (RDA) Culture and Placemaking Team is seeking to recruit a Project Officer (Heritage) to help us to deliver our ambitious plans to regenerate the borough.
The RDA, acting on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council, is responsible for promoting the economic well-being of Rochdale Borough. The RDA works in partnership with the Council, the private Sector and other stakeholders to deliver new economic investment, physical development and associated jobs for the benefit of the local community.

As part of our ambitious plans to regenerate the Borough there is a strong focus on retaining and enhancing the exceptional range of heritage assets that the Borough has and which provide the Borough with its unique character, including 5 Grade I and 21 Grade II* buildings.
This is a great time to be joining the team. As the Project Officer (Heritage) you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of a range of strategic heritage -led initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a significant technical background, project management and logistics experience in the festival sector, a strong understanding of the challenges faced by the sector and excellent contacts.

We are looking for someone that is energetic, organized and creative, a motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter that can confidently manage an exciting and varied workload incorporating multiple work streams. You will be a collaborator, committed to building effective working relationships with stakeholders and the festival and film sectors
