ABOUT THE HOME

The Willows, is a soon to be open care home will that will focus on supporting 23 males with complex and enduring healthcare needs. Our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for washing and returning garments with precision, following every care detail. Keeping supplies stocked, ensuring we never run out. Maintain a spotless, organized laundry room and more

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

o Launder clothes, towels, and bed linens, and return to their owner paying special attention to the washing instructions per garment
o Advise operations manager when supplies are running low, ensuring they never run out completely
o Ensure the laundry room is kept in a clean, organised manor
o Following relevant procedures when dealing with soiled and/or infectious linen


ROLE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAUNDRY ASSISTANT

o Previous experience working in a similar position
o The ability to establish effective, professional and positive working relationships with colleagues
o Good personal presentation and conduct
o Willingness to participate in the companies training needs
