Crynodeb
Fawkes & Reece South are working with a main contractor that works in collaboration with a private client on various infrastructure projects as part of a large framework in the South. They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a project worth £20m, with a scope of works includes earthworks, drainage, otter rehabilitation, culverts and rivers etc.
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor as part of a larger framework team that is site based. You will be responsible for the commercial administration on this scheme (but not limited to):
- Accurate monthly forecasting and agreeing on variations
- Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries
- Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
- Managing change and producing compensation events
- Preparing and submitting final accounts

Degree-qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent
Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
