An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the team at a vibrant, refurbished corporate retail destination in the heart of London’s West End. Positioned between the iconic Selfridges and the bustling Oxford Circus.We’re looking for a candidate who can consistently deliver high-quality security services while providing exceptional customer care to both clients and visitors. Professionalism, reliability, and a strong presence are key to maintaining the welcoming and secure environment we pride ourselves on.Information:Position: Security OfficerLocation: Mayfair - Bond StreetPay Rate: £14.35 per hourHours: Average 40 hours per weekShifts: 4 On 2 Off Job Requirements:SIA Door Supervisor Licence requiredSecurity Experience is required - Ideally retail or customer service sectorMust be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needsMust have good command of English languageGood levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all timesFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areasFlexible in the approach to daily dutiesFirst Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonusMust have five years of checkable work historyJob Responsibilities:Able to demonstrate and deliver high-quality guarding and customer service to both customers and service users.Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and thinking on your feet.Calm under pressure and confident in managing confrontational situations professionally and respectfully.Physically fit to carry out internal and external patrols, and able to stand/walk for extended periods.Confident in writing clear and accurate incident and shift reports.Always maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.Ensure all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, delivering exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding expectations.Capable of assisting members of the public with general enquiries, including providing directions and information about the shopping centre.Able to respond appropriately to customer disturbances or antisocial behaviour, ensuring safety and order are maintained.Conduct opening and closing procedures of the building, patrols, reception duties, emergency procedures, fire exit checks, defect reporting, basic IT tasks, customer service, and radio communications.Present a smart and professional appearance in line with company standards.Confident in undertaking 100% of all specified duties.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
