Stock Analyst – Great Barr - £24,000 - £28,000 per annum plus company benefits
Our client is a well-established company based in the Great Barr area of Birmingham; due to continued expansion they are now looking for an experienced Stock Analyst to join their existing team.
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Monitor and maintain all branded stock figures to ensure they remain within established minimum and maximum levels
• Identify and report out-of-stock items to the procurement team with urgency levels
• Calculate and advise on order quantities required to address shortfalls and restore optimal stock levels
• Track and evaluate supplier delivery accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain records of supplier performance metrics and escalate issues as appropriate
• Liaise with customer service team daily to communicate stock availability and expected delivery dates
• Prepare regular stock reports for management review
The ideal candidate will have the following skills / experience:
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with inventory management software is a benefit but not essential
• Understanding of supply chain principles is a benefit but not essential
Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
