Can you bring Grand Hospitality and a warm, professional welcome for our guests in our Hotel Nights Team?
As Assistant Night Manager you will bring your professional personality and flair to provide a warm, friendly and generous service to our guests whilst assisting the Night Manager in leading the Nights Guest Service team. The guest journey is paramount, so you'll know how to deliver fantastic experiences for our guests, time and time again.
£31,000 per annum - 40 hours over 4 Days
What the role involves
• Taking responsibility for an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, forging great relationships
• Ensure there is effective communication between the Front of House team, as well as with other hotel departments
• Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using Grand processes to resolve issues, delight, and build trust
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to track readiness of rooms for check-in
• Motivate the team by leading from the front with confidence; being dynamic and positive at all times
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk to ensure the team is efficient and runs smooth operations in order to produce excellent feedback and guest satisfaction
• Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, check reports for accuracy and act on them
• Make sure that all colleagues are aware of each day’s business such as any VIPs of the day and any special requirements that may be needed
• Support, coach and develop the front of house team, ensuring they have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area
• Carry out regular checks around all areas of the building, taking appropriate action to ensure standards of cleanliness, safety and general appearance are maintained

• Strong leadership skills, as demonstrated in a similar role within a front of house setting

• To be able to confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
