Cabinet Maker / General factory operative required to work as part of our Team
The job involves manufacturing small items of furniture / components and tool handles / manual handling of hardwood lumber/timber, checking the measurements/dimensions required and using various industrial saws, multi-rip / cross-cut etc to prepare cut blanks for use in our turning shop.
You will also be engaged in other departments within the factory as the workload requires, including operating Industrial Sanding Machines, Turning Machines, Routing Machines etc.
Working Monday to Thursday each week, hours of working: 7:30 to 12:30 each day, (5 Hours Per Day) additional hours may be available from time to time in accordance with the requirements of the business.
A Fork lift truck license would be an advantage.
Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to work to a consistently high quality standard and to be fully versed in all aspects of the Health and Safety requirements of working in a busy factory environment, keeping their work area clean and tidy at all times and following operating instructions to ensure that works are completed in a timely and above all, SAFE manner.
