Intro:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of adults and their carers? 3D Recruit is partnering with Haringey Council to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to join their Adult Social Care Assessment & Review Team. This role focuses on person-centred assessments, preventative interventions, and maximising independence for residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake person-centred Assessments and Reviews in line with the Care Act 2014.
Focus on preventative interventions and strengths-based approaches to maximise independence.
Assess, review, and provide support to carers and family members.
Conduct Mental Capacity Act assessments and make Best Interest decisions where appropriate.
Ensure outcomes for service users are achieved and hold providers accountable for delivery.
Maintain accurate, clear, and detailed records for all cases.
Manage care packages, including presenting cases to panels, adjusting budgets, and ensuring value for money.
Work within the Care Act framework, promoting wellbeing, prevention, and accessibility.
Participate in supervision and team meetings to improve practice and service delivery.
Engage with Continuing Health Care processes, including DST completion and joint work with health colleagues.
Collaborate with commissioning teams to maintain provider quality standards.
Work with partners, providers, and carers to manage risk safely while supporting positive risk-taking.
Undertake safeguarding enquiries in line with Haringey Safeguarding Process and statutory guidance.
Understand and comply with legislative and organisational frameworks to discharge statutory duties.
Utilise local resources, including voluntary and community sectors, to connect service users and families to opportunities.
Adhere to health and safety responsibilities and continue professional development through mandatory and identified training.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
Experience in adult social care, assessments, or reviews.
Knowledge of Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding legislation.
Experience in person-centred and holistic practice.
Right to work in the UK.
Working Arrangements:
Full-time – Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
Based in Haringey, with potential hybrid arrangements depending on team requirements.
