Crynodeb
As an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner in our North EITSS team covering Chesterfield and surrounding areas up into the High Peak, youll be doing work that matters; every single day. Youll support children, young people and families with early help for low-level mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns, offering practical, goal-focused support that builds confidence, self-awareness and resilience. This role is a part time position to be worked across 3 days. This is a role with real variety. Youll deliver 1:1 interventions in community spaces, offer advice and emotional health assessments, and work closely with families, schools, and local services to make sure no one slips through the gaps. Every interaction is a chance to make a difference whether you're providing space for a young person to open up for the first time, helping a parent feel supported, or linking a family into services that can help them thrive. You'll also play a wider role in the system by training professionals, running health promotion events, and contributing to the design of resources that boost emotional wellbeing across the whole community.
