Crynodeb
Job plans will vary based on the total PAs offered. The recommend post is 10PAs, these are split 7.5 DCC / 2.5 SPA. It is possible to work up to 12PAs per week incorporating one day with no hospital commitments and 1:14 on-call with prospective cover. Applicants wishing to work fewer than 10 PAs are invited to contact us to discuss further details of their Job Plan, we have a number of consultants on fewer than 10 PAs and as a department we understand that a sustainable career requires flexibility around work. Similarly those with subspecialty interests are also invited to discuss further details of their potential Job Plan. On-call Commitments The Consultants currently operate a 1 in 11 rota with prospective cover for the Department. Current working practice is to be in the Department between 14:00-2200Hrs Monday to Friday when on-call, and for 6 hours on both Saturday and Sunday when on-call at the weekend.
