Marketing Assistant
This is a 12-month full-time temporary contract for maternity cover. Possibility of permanent contract, depending on the individual and the company’s requirements.
C. R. Laurence of Europe Limited (CRL) is a full service supplier of architectural metals, glass fixings and professional grade glazing supplies, comprising of two distinct divisions:
1. Leading supplier of glass and glazing products and architectural hardware for the glazing, shower, railing and glass door sectors. www.crlaurence.co.uk
2. CRL Stone distribute CRL Quartz and Ceralsio ceramic surfaces to the kitchen and bathroom industry in UK and Ireland. www.crlstone.co.uk
CRL is a rapidly expanding European business, part of the worldwide organisation OBE.com The European Headquarters are located in Rochdale and support our European branches located in Germany and Denmark. This is an exciting time for CRL as we are working towards the launch of a new website which will significantly improve customer experience.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate who will be able to deliver a broad range of marketing initiatives to support CRL and its two divisions.
The role includes but is not restricted to:
• Create weekly eshots, carrying out and analysing test and learn campaigns
where appropriate
• Brief and oversee the production of company’s brochures, flyers and other
marketing collateral ensuring they adhere to the brand guidelines
• Update artwork on product labels as and when required
• Assist in the development and upkeep of the company’s websites, ensuring the
website is regularly refreshed with imagery, information, news and products
• Create relevant and engaging content for CRL’s social channels using CRL
tone of voice
• Create banners and gifs for use on CRL websites or third party websites
• Work closely with the design agency to ensure all designs are briefed correctly,
adhere to brand guidelines and are on schedule
• Carry out day to day marketing tasks as appropriate
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Advantageous skills:
• Basic level in using Photoshop
• Experience in using social media in a professional context
• Digital marketing skills
• Experience using Adobe software
Technology used:
• Photoshop, basic use for, creating gifs and banners
• Dot Digital for creating and distributing eshots and triggered emails
• Sprinklr for scheduling social posts and analysing social channels
• Adobe Acrobat for marking up brochures and flyers
• Wordpress and possibly Magento & Hybris for updating websites
• Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Powerpoint
Contract: 12-month full-time temporary contract from January 2026 to December 2026.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Salary: Depending on experience - in the region of £30,000 per annum
Holidays: 23 days holiday (4 days to be taken over the Christmas shut down from 23rd December to 2nd January and 19 days available to be taken during the rest of the year), plus statutory bank holidays
Reporting to: The position reports to the European Marketing Manager
