We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic experienced Lead Superintendent radiographer to join our friendly and well-supported team.


The post holder will provide senior leadership and operational management across the Radiology service.


They will oversee radiography staff to ensure a high quality, responsive and innovative service that meets clinical and performance standards.


The post holder must be flexible, adaptable to change and prepared to embrace workforce developments and to contribute to an effective and efficient service, delivered through the highest standards of safe, kind and compassionate care.


You will be dynamic, highly self-motivated and organised. The radiology team are friendly and highly skilled with a commitment to continuing professional development for all staff and active encouragement to be involved in training and audit.

The role is to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the clinical imaging service across 4 sites, St Georges University Hospital, Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton, The Nelson Health Centre and St Johns Therapy Centre.


They provide the leadership for the multidisciplinary team, offering support to staff and co-ordinating the service to ensure an effective and efficient service for patients.


They will work closely with the Modality Superintendents, Clinical lead and Radiology triumvirate contributing to the department's strategic direction, workforce planning and service delivery.


The successful applicant will be experienced in all aspects of Radiography.
They will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of IR(ME)R along with excellent quality control and assurance knowledge.


They will have extensive management and leadership experience and be able to lead and manage the day to day running of a busy department.
