As an Internal Communications Officer, you will be delivering effective internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and inspire colleagues across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career and make a real impact in an important public service area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal communications plans that align with organisational objectives and the Government Communication Service (GCS) standards.
- Support delivery of change management communications and broader people related initiatives.
- Provide flexible support to other teams within the wider communications function as and when needed.
- Create, publish and maintain engaging content across various internal channels, including intranet, newsletters, and briefings, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, accessible, and resonate with our diverse workforce.
- Support senior leadership in communicating key messages to colleagues, ensuring clarity and consistency across all levels of the organisation.
- Collaborate with other teams and directorates to gather information and create compelling narratives that resonate with our diverse workforce.
- Support the Change Communications managers to plan and coordinate all change communications activity.
- Analyse the effectiveness of change communications through surveys, analytics, and feedback, and use insights to continuously improve our approach.
