Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Security Administrator to provide dedicated administrative support to the Mitie team on a Local Government contract. This role is pivotal to ensuring smooth and efficient operations under the direction of your line manager. A key focus of the position will be on the processing and production of photo ID and security access cards, alongside a wide variety of other administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities
As a Security Administrator, you will deliver efficient clerical and administrative support to the team, including but not limited to:
- Processing and Production of Photo ID Cards: Manage applications and oversee the supply of ID card consumables.
- Stationery and Supplies Management: Ensure adequate stock levels for team stationery and other required materials.
- Procurement and Invoicing: Raise purchase orders and process invoices promptly and accurately.
- Visitor Coordination: Welcome and escort visitors while organising meeting room bookings and other arrangements.
- Attend project, Team and HR meetings to take notes/actions ensuring notes are typed up, distributed and actions closed off accordingly
- IT Equipment Administration: Maintain records and oversee IT equipment management to ensure functionality and accountability.
- Central Contact Point: Serve as the main point of contact for the team, fielding and redirecting calls as necessary.
- Documentation and Organisation: Ensure all associated paperwork is completed, organised, and maintained in a timely manner.
- Communication Support: Assist with the distribution of communication materials, presentations, and team updates across the organisation.
- Assistance to the wider mitie team on the contract as and when required
- Other Duties: Support the Management team with additional tasks as required.
