Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the best possible start for every pupil.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Lead lessons and small group interventions, advancing learning in the absence of the class teacher where appropriate.
Foster pupils’ independence, emotional resilience, and self-esteem.
Use a range of assessment tools to monitor and report on pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support individual learning and development plans.
Model inclusive practice and contribute to the positive ethos of the SEND Unit and wider school community.
