About the Role We have a fantastic opportunity to join Education Partnership Northeast as an Infrastructure Technician. Based primarily at our Bede campus, you will provide support to our staff and learners across all our campuses in the North-East. As an Infrastructure Technician, you will work alongside senior engineers and will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and management of all our IT infrastructure systems. You should demonstrate a high level of commitment and have previous experience in an IT Operations function. You will be a flexible and customer focussed individual with excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills backed up by an understanding of IT. You will play a key role in providing 2nd and 3rd line technical infrastructure support across all EPNE sites. Your responsibilities will include a mix of business as usual (BAU) and project work to build and maintain platforms that support our business systems. QualificationsEducated to degree level or equivalent professional qualifications in an IT related discipline, with evidence of continuing professional development. GCSE Level 4/C English and Maths or equivalent. Essential Skills & Experience Significant technical support experience including exposure to a wide range of technologies and infrastructure components. Experience in the installation, configuration, and management of Microsoft Windows Server. Excellent skills in Active Directory administration and Group Policy management. Proficient in the setup, management, and troubleshooting of core network components (DNS / DHCP) Experience administering cloud services including O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Workspace. Understanding of cyber security concepts and best practises.
