Due to continued growth Laurus Trust is looking for an experienced and committed individual to join the 17 strong team as a Trust IT Manager based at a school that best fits with your commute.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of dedicated IT professionals who support and service the IT function across 6 secondary and 3 primary schools. You will become an integral part of an expanding and progressive organisation, and be a key contributor to the strategic development and maintenance of the Trust IT provision, managing a small team of Technicians which in turn will support the continued delivery of outstanding education to our students.If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you. Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below)To support the IT Director with monitoring, development, maintenance and delivery of a responsive, effective and compliant IT provision across the Trust for all stakeholders.Responsible for managing a team of IT Technicians and IT Team Leaders to ensure that they provide a high-quality service across all schools in the Trust.To ensure that legal and contractual obligations relating to IT resources, systems and services are met.Key Skills & Experience
Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Alongside evidence of continued professional development. Proven experience of maintaining and supporting PC, server and networking equipment.Strong understanding of computer networks and operating systems, usage and equipment configuration including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11 and macOS.To learn more about what the Trust offer, including our wide range of employee benefits and access to further professional learning, visit our Careers page.
