Your role:
As a Be Well Membership Advisor you will work within a team on a rota system dealing with and responding to a full range of Be Well membership enquiries and sales. You will also contribute to the effective retention of our membership packages across all our services such as health and fitness, swimming, gymnastics and tennis.
You will provide a frontline service answering incoming calls from prospective and existing members and schedule and deliver outgoing calls to meet the needs of the Be Well membership. You will provide excellent customer service to current members helping to increase the retention rate of those members. You will be responsible for ensuring that a high quality administrative and customer advice function is delivered within the context of a fast - paced environment.
You will embrace and effectively engage our residents in an asset-based conversation that seeks to understand the knowledge, skills, and talents, needs and aspirations of our residents and ensure they are signposted to the relevant support access routes that could improve their health and wellbeing.
Shift patterns vary, Monday to Friday with Saturday working based upon customer demand, between 9:00am and 18:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend working will be required to support outreach activity. The role is predominantly based within the Be Well office in the Wigan Life Centre.
About you:
The ideal person for this role will have experience of working within a fast paced, dynamic team and be able to deliver excellent customer service within a support hub function.
You will ideally have experience of working within a sales culture with a passion and drive to achieve targets set. Your skill set and attributes will also get the most out of the team you supervise drawing upon their skills and supporting their development.
You will be familiar with working towards achieving KPI’s and be able to report to senior management on performance. You will have a fine eye for detail, be able to analyse large sets of data and be digitally confident.
You will be able to prioritise tasks set and delegate to team members to achieve the Be Well Memberships targets and goals.
You will have good organisational, verbal, and written communication skills as well as experience of providing admin support to a range of business areas.
The role at times is demanding, so experience of working in a customer service environment is beneficial alongside the ability to identify problems and seek effective solutions.
