About us
We are a busy accounts receivable team delivering an efficient and effective accounts receivable service to the city council and external customers. We work closely as a team to invoice and collect most of the non-tax debt due to the council from individuals and businesses. We provide information and support to our customers to recover money due to the council and support customers who are struggling to pay.

Successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Have a strong team work ethic, with the willingness to get stuck in
Are confident in dealing with people over the phone, on video calls and in person
Strong customer service skills
Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable and flexible
Able to use (and learn) how to use digital technology to meet the key outcomes of the role, including Finance software and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
About the benefits
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who work together to achieve their goals. We work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and allow a good work-life balance. You will work mostly from home with a requirement to be in the office as a team one or two days per week. We offer full training for the role so previous finance experience is not necessary, training is carried out in person with the support of the team.
