Crynodeb
Clinical sessions deemed clinical activities are 4 hours each clinic PA. At present there are no regular out of-hours on-call duties. The appointee will be expected to participate in all aspects of clinical governance as developed by the Trust to monitor, maintain and develop the quality and effectiveness of care. The successful appointee will be expected to participate in 8 clinical sessions including clinics, inpatient ward reviews as required, triaging and managing patient-initiated follow-ups/PIFU and referrals via the CNS and Uveitis@uhb.nhs.uk and attend regional as well as national uveitis meetings. There are two sessions of postgraduate education, and the expectation is that these will be used for either education or research. A degree of flexibility for these sessions is built into the timetable and the successful appointee will be expected to work flexibly.
