Are you a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about training and development of the Pharmacy Technical workforce? If so, the Pharmacy Technical Services at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Technician to join our team. Technical services are currently covering aseptic services, over labelling & repacking unit, Radio pharmacy and the pharmacy clinical trial unit. More detail about the role We are looking for an experienced aseptic Pharmacy Technician or Science Manufacturing Technician with vision and motivation to join our dynamic department support the current service we provide to our customers. We are a busy aseptic unit and have a dedicated team of Technicians, Science Manufacturing Technicians and Assistant technical officers who deliver a fast response service working within Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing practice. You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and committed to providing the highest quality of training. Creating and delivering training programs for aseptic manufacturing staff, including new starters and existing team members, ensuring training programs comply with regulatory requirements. You will need an ability to develop effective working relationships and to prioritise your own work. You will be required to be flexible, reliable and able to work on your own and within the team to support, develop our increasing workforce. You will work with our Lead Technician (Pharmacy) and Lead Pharmacist for Training & Education to ensure that technical services are included in the overall workforce development of the pharmacy department. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
