Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Salary: £50,000-£53,000 (depending on experience)

Are you a quantity surveyor with the ability to effectively manage planned refurbishment projects across residential properties and social housing?

We are working with an established housing provider and developer, that are looking for a project quantity surveyor to be responsible for the financial and contractual administration of projects carried out across Manchester.

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will;

  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned developments

  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows

  • Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages

  • Administer contracts, including variations and valuations

  • Provide regular cost reports and ensure financial targets are met

  • Work closely with design, delivery, and external consultant teams

  • Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives

As Project Quantity Surveyor, it is required that you;

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Demonstrable experience managing residential/social housing projects

  • Knowledge of NHF schedule of rates

  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will receive;

  • £50,000-£53,000 salary with £1,300 allowance

  • 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

  • Up to 12% pension contributions
