Job description
37 hours per week

Fixed Term up to 31 March 2029

Bridgend County Borough Council's Community Safety Partnerships team is looking for a highly motivated individual to support the delivery of the Western Bay Community Cohesion Delivery Plan in Bridgend by working with the Regional Community Cohesion Coordinator to identify and mitigate community tensions, and to coordinate a multi-agency response in developing community based solutions.

This is a varied role and we are looking for someone with a specific interest in community safety with excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

A Basic criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) together with a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check is a requirement for this post.

A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.

The council's Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
