Job Title: CCTV & Security Engineer
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire (with travel throughout the UK)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Security Engineer to join our clients growing team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV and security systems across a wide range of client sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including IP and analogue systems.
• Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on CCTV and associated security systems.
• Perform routine service visits and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites.
• Travel regularly across the UK with occasional overnight stays.
Essential Requirements:
• Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of CCTV systems including IP-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of access control and fire solutions.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with access control, intruder alarms, or other security systems.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA).
• Knowledge of networking and IP configuration.
