Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic doctor to join our trust.

We are looking for a fixed term full time doctor to work within our Medicine Department mainly inGastro/Diabetes/DME.

This is offered on a rotational 4 month post working normal working days.

This post will optimise your clinical experience and enable you to gain relevant clinical competencies.

The post is based at Queens Hospital, Burton.

Please note this is not a training post.

You will be supervised by senior colleagues, and you will have the opportunity to attend teaching sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills, access to an electronic portfolio and the opportunity to participate in Quality Improvement Projects.

We work in partnership with Leicester Medical School, Health Education England in East Midlands and Health Education England to provide quality education and training which meets the requirements of these regulatory bodies as well as the Trust’s high standards of patient care.

All applicants must hold Full GMC with a licence to practice, satisfactory completion of foundation year one (or equivalent), minimum 2 weeks clinical experience in a UK Healthcare setting andbe able to commence in post asap.
