"We care We communicate We collaborate We contribute" You will provide tailored dietary advice and monitoring to patients at the point of diagnosis and along their cancer pathway to help to optimise nutritional status through and enteral nutrition. Applicants must have appropriate knowledge and clinical experience in cancer care. This post will include the delivery of specialist clinics, cover for an inpatient ward and chemotherapy suite and the ongoing development of multidisciplinary group education sessions. You will manage a varied caseload of patients, recognise the needs of patients and deliver a holistic and patient-centred service for those living with and beyond cancer. Many learning and development opportunities will be available to you. You will be innovative and participate in service improvement through audit and peer review measures. We firmly believe in holistic care and we have strong links with Milton Keynes Patient Partnership group who work alongside us to help improve services. The onsite cancer centre offers streamlined cancer services with the recent addition of an Oxford University Hospital onsite radiotherapy service. Clinical: To undertake the comprehensive assessment of patients, including those with a highly complex presentation/multi-pathologies; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition. Professional: To maintain own continuing professional development (CPD) by keeping abreast of any new trends and developments, and incorporate them as necessary into your work. Organisational: To be responsible for the supervision and coordination of junior staff, students and assistants as required.
