About the role
This role will manage a high standard retail and hospitality offer over all four campus locations. Focus will be on promotions and advertising as well as overseeing the Hospitality Booking Portal (Spoonfed) over all campuses.
Main Responsibilities
1. Optimise Hospitality catering with Spoonfed’s management software over multiple sites by streamlining orders, voucher delivery, and finances for enhanced efficiency and profit, as well as daily correspondence with queries and bespoke requests that are submitted through the @Staffs outlook calendar.
2. Work with the Catering Manager and Executive Chef in meeting suppliers on a regular basis to develop retail lines that are cost effective and trending in order to develop retail and drink promotions that include advertising through digital portals and social media, and updating new retail lines and menus through the back-of-house till system to ensure prices and menus are updated for customer satisfaction.
3. Deputise for the Catering Manager and Hospitality Supervisors across all sites, handling issues as they arise including food shortages, reporting of equipment failure, quality control, health and safety, and managing schedules and hospitality to implement solutions swiftly.
4. Support with the retail auditing for coffee brand standards and retail lines across all catering outlets, including visual merchandising, inventory and stocking, pricing and promotions, and compliance.
5. Assist in the raising of POs and receipt of invoices when required, raising EMP numbers for external Hospitality Clients as well as compiling reports for internal and external hospitality regarding charging
6. Assist the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to meet internal and external hospitality clients to address their requests, ensuring all catering deliveries are a memorable experience and drive commercial income
