Due to recent changes in immigration law in the UK we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements of RQF Level 6

Due to internal progression, Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for three Level 1 Caseworker positions. One permanent vacancy in Boston, South Holland, SEND locality Team and one fixed term contract until 14 March 2027. In addition to a fixed term contract in North Kesteven and South Kesteven, SEND locality Team until 30 November 2026.

About you

You will need to have:

A NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Health, Education, or Social Care subject.
Significant experience of working with children/young people in a health, education or social care setting.
The ability and aptitude to work in close partnership with children, young people, families, schools and agencies.
Extensive working knowledge of relevant SEND legislation.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills coupled with drive and initiative.
Due to our hybrid way of working the expectation will be for the successful candidate be based in the office at least one day per week and be available to attend meetings across a wide geographical area. Due to this, a valid, full driving licence will be required.
Above all else you will need to have the drive and dedication to put children, young people and their families at the heart of your practice. Use of transport is essential to the role for the ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner to carry out essential duties.
