Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.60 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 37.5Located in the heart of Aberdeen, Dee View Court Care Home is a 43-bed specialist service providing expert neurorehabilitation and long-term care for adults with complex needs. We are now looking for a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy care that promotes independence, wellbeing, and recovery for our residents.
What We Offer
- £12.60 per hour
- Contracted to 37.5 hours per week

Your Role
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting residents’ rehabilitation and physical wellbeing. Working closely with our Physiotherapist and wider therapy team, you will help deliver tailored treatment plans designed to optimise mobility, independence, and quality of life.
You will assist with preparing residents and treatment areas for sessions, support with mobility exercises and therapy routines, and maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes. You will also contribute to care planning and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly. Above all, you will provide reassurance, encouragement, and compassionate support to help residents achieve their goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards Level 3
- Previous experience within a health or social care environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Competent IT skills and attention to detail in record-keeping
- A caring, patient, and professional attitude with a genuine interest in rehabilitation and elderly care
