Your new role
Your new role as a technician at this company means that you will have responsibilities across classes of business. These responsibilities include ensuring that all internal record systems and databases are maintained and up-to-date and regulatory requirements and procedures are adhered to. You will be processing and entering data for new risks into the company's broking system, including creation of accounting documentation in line with internal practices. You will create and issue Evidence of Coverage documents as required, process and submit LPANs (London Premium Advice Notes) to Xchanging following market-standard practices along with creating payment bordereaux from the company's broking system in accordance with Xchanging guidelines. It is important in this role that you carry out sanctions checking as applicable using this company's sanctions platform as well as ensuring you are providing trusted support to senior account handlers, brokers, and clients on all aspects of post-placement activities. You must help ensure that client service delivery is continuously reviewed and monitored to achieve optimal satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you must have familiarity with the IMR and other relevant London Market systems, or willingness to learn. You must be someone who is a strong communicator and team player as well as someone who has a willingness to learn and be versatile in different classes of business. It is important that in this role you possess awareness of FCA regulations and standards, with training provided as required.
